About Us
Owl Vantage is Canada’s leading insurtech dedicated to leveraging AI to fundamentally change how group benefits are administered and supported. We partner with health and life insurance brokers, aggregators, and carriers to deliver shared administration services that simplify complexity, improve outcomes and deliver material value.

Our services include service delivery, quoting and renewal support, claims experience reporting, and invoice and billing reconciliation — all designed to help our partners operate more efficiently and serve their clients better.  All these services are made better through our unique AI Owl Vantage platform.

We are client-centric, collaborative, and forward-thinking. As we grow, we’re looking for professionals who are energized by problem-solving, inspired by innovation, and motivated by building value enhancing long-term relationships.

You don’t need experience with everything listed, but you should be excited to work across the stack.

  • Proven ability to ship production features independently
  • Experience with web applications across backend, frontend, and cloud

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • A supportive and collaborative company culture that values innovation and client success.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth within a growing organization.

  • Grow quickly as the company scales

Location
This is a hybrid role based in our downtown Toronto office. We value in‑person collaboration while supporting flexibility.

Interview Process
Our interview process is designed to be clear, respectful of your time, and focused on real-world skills.  We aim for interviews to feel like a preview of working together, with transparency and timely communication throughout.

Introductory Call (30 minutes)
A conversation with the CTO to learn more about your background, discuss the role, and assess mutual fit.

Take-Home Exercise (60–120 minutes)
A small, well-scoped exercise with provided starter code. We’re not looking for a polished solution — we want to understand your design decisions, trade-offs, and testing approach. We’ll discuss your work during the next stage.

In-Person Interview (Toronto Office)
A single consolidated on-site session including: 60-minute technical discussion with the engineering team (focused on your take-home), 30-minute conversation with the product team, and 30-minute discussion with co-founders and senior leaders.
